Tom Brady - The NFL’s GOAT

Tom Brady - The NFL’s GOAT

When the conversation of the greatest NFL player arises, one name comes up above all others: Tom Brady. Some might argue Joe Montana or even Lawrence Taylor have a stronger claim but what can’t be argued is that since entering the league as a lowly 6th round pick back in 2000 out of Michigan, Tom Brady has cemented himself as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) and solidified his place amongst the American football legends.

Let’s take an in depth look at how Tom Brady became one of the NFL's most successful players.

The New England Patriots have been a dominant force in the NFL since 2000. The most successful era of New England Patriots football came during the 2000s and 2010s under head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.

During this period, the team made 18 playoff appearances, won 6 Super Bowls (2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, 2018), and had 12 division titles. The team's success was also due to a combination of strong draft picks, savvy trades, and sound coaching decisions.

Who will be replacing Tom Brady at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With Tom Brady’s career in Tampa Bay officially over, the Buccaneers are faced with a daunting challenge of searching for his replacement. With little more than Blaine Gabbert (currently unsigned for 2023) and Kyle Trask on their roster, they may need to look elsewhere if they want an established quarterback leading them into next season.

The million-dollar question then becomes: who will be taking snaps under centre field at Raymond James Stadium this Autumn? We will have to wait and see how the year progresses.
