The Super Bowl is one of the most watched sporting events in the world, attracting over 100 million viewers each year. This makes it an incredibly valuable advertising opportunity, with average 30-second commercial spots during the game costing up to $5 million.

The first Super Bowl was held in 1967 between the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. Since then, the New England Patriots have been finalists the most number of times at 11 games, and have won the Super Bowl 6 times alongside the Pittsburgh Steelers who have also won 6 Super Bowls. The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers have won a total of 5 each.

The Eagles and Chiefs cemented their places in NFL history, sweeping past the 49ers and Bengals to bring electric energy to Arizona for Super Bowl LVII. It's gonna be a wild ride as two great teams reunite on American football’s biggest stage!

AFC Championship: Chiefs 23, Bengals 20

Mahomes' phenomenal performance brought the mighty Chiefs to their third Super Bowl appearance in five years - jubilant news for any NFL fan. Even with an injury, Mahomes was able to pass 326 yards and make two stellar scores!

Meanwhile Cincinnati's game plan just couldn't get off the ground; Burrow had scant playing time as their running game lacked traction. Though this doesn't take away from Joe Burrow's potential: a star QB at lead, and a talented team, sure has us excited about what is yet to come.

NFC Championship: Eagles 31, 49ers 7

The Eagles soared to glory, conquering their opponents with an unstoppable combination of ground-breaking running and a brick wall defence! Despite the odds stacked against them - including no touchdowns from Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia airlifted themselves straight into Super Bowl LVII.

San Francisco has been hit hard by quarterback injuries again this season, but the resilience of their team under head coach Kyle Shanahan is an inspiring testament to how well-run the organisation is.

Even with a rookie QB taken in the last round of drafts, they were able to make it all the way to championship contention, but will have to wait until next season for another shot at Super Bowl glory.

Whatever the outcome of this matchup may be, it is clear that Jalen Hurts will continue to make an impact on not only the Eagles but also on American football in general for years to come.

Patrick Mahomes is an incredible quarterback who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. His incredible performances have been recognized with numerous awards such as NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year.

Getting to know the Super Bowl finalists

Super Bowl LVII

The Philadelphia Eagles are a professional American football franchise based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established in 1933, the Eagles have one of the oldest and most successful histories out of all the teams in the NFL. They have won three NFL Championships (1948, 1949, and 1960) as well as Super Bowl LII in 2018.

The Eagles have had several Hall of Fame players over their long history, such as Donovan McNabb, Randall Cunningham, Chuck Bednarik and Reggie White. The team has also had its fair share of legendary coaches including Dick Vermeil and Andy Reid. The team’s passionate fan base is considered to be one of the best in the entire league and they often make their presence felt during home games at Lincoln Financial Field.

Even when playing away from home on the road, you can find an enthusiastic group of fans huddled under their green jerseys proudly supporting their beloved birds-of-prey.

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based out of Kansas City, Missouri. Founded as the Dallas Texans in 1960, they began as charter members of the American Football League (AFL).

The team moved to Kansas City and was renamed the Chiefs in 1963. Throughout their history, the Chiefs have won three AFL championships and one Super Bowl title in 1969. They have also made it to seven AFC championship games and 5 Super Bowls.

Some of their most notable players include Hall of Famers Len Dawson, Derrick Thomas and Emmitt Thomas, as well as recent stars like Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Currently coached by Andy Reid, the Chiefs have become one of the most successful teams in recent years, winning Super Bowl LIV in 2020 and making it back to repeated appearances in both the AFC championship game and Super Bowl LVII this season.

The team has a passionate fan base that is known for creating an electric atmosphere at Arrowhead Stadium on game days and always backing their beloved red-and-gold champions no matter what.

What we can expect from these two dynamic teams

In the playoffs, Jacksonville Jaguars exposed Kansas City's vulnerability against the run as they rushed for 140+ yards and an impressive 7.6 yard average per carry! Now Philadelphia Eagles' offensive front could be a real problem when Chiefs face them in Super Bowl LVII; with their top-five rushing attack that gained 17 runs total of at least 20 yards during the regular season alone.

Even with their dynamic duo of Hurts and wide receiver Jackson, the Eagles' high-risk/high reward passing style has been hurting them all season long. In 2022 they allowed 44 sacks - a huge number for any team in the NFL! Philadelphia must rethink how they approach offensive plays if they are to have a chance against one of football's toughest defensive units: Jones and Clark.
